Are you the perfect woman for God?

 God's Perfect Woman has the right foundation.

"And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them."  Romans 8:28 (New Living Translation)

God's Perfect Woman has the right destination.

"I myself don't think I've reached it, but I do this one thing:  I forget about the things behind me and reach out for the things ahead of me.  The goal I pursue is the prize of God's upward call in Jesus Christ."  Philippians 3:13-14 (Common English Bible)

God's Perfect Woman claims victory.

 With God on our side like this, how can we lose? …  Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ’s love for us?  There is no way!  I’m absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us.  Romans 8:35-39 (The Message)

 

 

Two Examples of Perfect Women from the Bible

Abigail:  I Samuel 25 & Deborah:  Judges 4 & 5

  • Different lives
  • Different circumstances
  • Different skills
  • Different needs
  • Same foundation:  God
  • Same destination:  Heaven
  • Same victory:  God used their trust and their willingness to serve to His purpose
  • Same result:  Joy

 

On Being Perfect

We are all works in progress.

How much we have is not nearly as important
as what we do with it!

 

I do not mean that I am already as God wants me to be. I have not yet reached that goal, but I continue trying to reach it and to make it mine. Christ wants me to do that, which is the reason he made me his.

On Our Influence

 

When we have
wisdom to impart,
faith to share, and
help to offer,
